Managing SEAdmin Users with UsersAPI
Clients use the Users API to create a user in PCMI's IdP (Identity Provider) and subsequently update the user with membership groups/roles through the existing integration with the SEAdmin REST API's.Creating a user via the API will also create the user in the SEAdmin with the "External Identity" set to the users' email address. This will allow that user to federate into SEAdmin. Please note that the groups/roles cannot currently be set through the Users API and the user must be updated with the appropriate groups through the SEAdmin Rest API.Calling the Users API requires a token from the IdP. The client credentials for will be created by PCMI and provided to the client. client_id= ClientId of the client credentials
client_secret= ClientSecret of the client credentials
grant_type= client_credentials
scope=list of APIs and the TenantId of the client

Substitute the applicationId depending on UAT/PROD:
SEAdmin UAT applicationId – 2b2e5d93-0538-4a50-bd0e-ae887ea45703
SEAdmin PROD applicationId - fadcfa7a-1411-46ca-9303-bac8dc704631Posting to this API will create the user in our IdP and will create the user in the client's SEAdmin database. This function may take a few minutes to complete.Once this process is complete, the client can use the SEAdmin REST API to GET the SEAdmin user and UPDATE the membership roles / groups.For full request/response examples of managing SEAdmin users directly (search, create, update groups/roles, and expire/deactivate), see ADMIN Users API.
